Holy hell this place was good. Not from around here, picked it from the high rating and reviews for a quick decent lunch. So freaking good! The bread took the cake. Highly recommend!
Sandwiches are loaded with meat and toppings and have an excellent flavor with their special seasonings. The bread is soft and flavorful and really good when its toasted. Its my favorite sandwich shop!
A fantastic tasty sandwich shop in Springfield IL. I had the beefeater sandwich roast beef which has fantastic fresh sweet bread, delicious roast beef and fresh veggies. The staff was friendly and very informative. Almost no wait. Much better than subway. Ill be back.

Hadnt been to a Montys in a while. We both got the egg salad sub on sweet bread and a drink. Wonderful egg salad a large sub for not much money. Other places dont have egg salad, and this is rich and creamy. Yum.

I always get the Hamlet or the gobbler. Ive been eating at these locations in Springfield for decades. Love the broccoli cheddar soup. Quality is always topnotch and so is the service.
